The Vanderburgh County Health Department offers a FREE five-week Stress Management Class. These classes use individual assessment tools to help participants identify their specific stressors and learn new coping skills that will work best for them. Classes will be limited to 20 participants.

Session schedule:

Weekly daytime classes: 8:00am- 9:00am  OR  1:00pm-2:00pm

  • October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th

 

Weekly evening classes:  6:00pm – 7:00pm

How much does the program cost?
Our Stress Management classes offered at the Health Department are free of charge.

What is the attire for class?
There is no dress code for class.

Where is the class located?
The Vanderburgh County Health Department at 420 Mulberry St. Evansville, IN 47713. The class will be held on the 2nd floor. There are stairs and an elevator access to the 2nd floor.

What should I expect?
Individual assessment tools to help you to identify specific stressors and teach skills that will help you cope.

Is there any paperwork that needs to be filled out prior to coming?
We will provide everything that is needed at the beginning of class.

How long is each class?
Each class is one hour long.

What are class cancellation policies due to weather?
We follow the EVSC policy, but we will contact everyone to let them know.

What time do the doors open for class?
The door to the classroom will open 30 minutes prior to class starting.
